About the Game
Owlcat’s first action RPG, and its first game in someone else’s sci-fi universe.
The Expanse: Osiris Reborn is a third-person, cover-based action RPG from Owlcat Games, the studio behind Pathfinder and Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader. It is officially licensed through Alcon, which holds The Expanse TV rights, and runs alongside books 1–2, seasons 1 to 2½ of the show. You play a Pinkwater Security mercenary caught in the Eros lockdown, then captain of the Gemini, with your twin J and a crew of seven companions.
You pick an origin, Earther, Martian or Belter, but no fixed class. Two companions fight beside you, choices carry across the story, companions can die, and romance is confirmed. It is single-player, not open world, and has no ship combat (see the FAQ). Owlcat estimates 20–30 hours.
